1/3	lb	Black beans
1/3	lb	Red beans
1/3	lb	Great northern beans
SEASONING MIXTURE
1	tb	Parsley flakes
1/2	ts	Red pepper, crushed
1 1/2	ts	Chili powder
1/4	ts	Garlic powder
1	ts	Salt
1/4	ts	Black pepper, ground
TO MAKE SOUP
1	lb	Pork sausage
2		Onions; quartered
2		Garlic cloves, crushed
16	oz	Tomatoes
4	oz	Green chiles, chopped

Combine beans and place in sealable plastic bag. Combine seasoning mixture and place in small sealable plastic bag. Add recipe and gift wrap.

To make soup: wash bean soup mix. cover with water and soak overnight.

In skillet, brown sausage, onions, and garlic. Drain beans. Add sausage mixture, tomatoes, and chiles to beans. Add enough water to cover. Simmer 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally. Add seasoning mixture before serving and stir well. Salt and pepper to taste.
